Michele L. Scott M.D.
Dr. Michele Scott is a fellowship trained glaucoma specialist at Eastern Carolina Glaucoma & Vision Center. Dr. Scott is a board certified ophthalmologist. She earned her medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she was an elected member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honors society. She completed her ophthalmology residency at Wake Forest University and a glaucoma fellowship at the University of Tennessee, Memphis.
Originally from Memphis Tennessee, Dr. Scott moved to New Bern, NC in 2009, after completing Glaucoma Fellowship at the University of Tennessee, Memphis. She has been in private practice for over 14 years. In 2024, Dr. Scott opened Eastern Carolina Glaucoma & Vision Center.
Her clinical practice focuses on the medical and surgical management of glaucoma, as well as incision cataract surgery. She is a proud fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Glaucoma Society.
