Welcome New Patients
Check-In
With your New Patient Paperwork downloaded and completed at home, you bring the forms to our reception desk. If you’d like to fill out the forms here, plan to arrive about 30 minutes before your appointment time.
Check-Out
Most patients schedule a follow-up appointment with our front office coordinator. If your visit included uninsured services, deductibles, or copays, you will make those payments at check-out.
Payment Policy
Beyond filing all major insurance claims, including Medicare and Medicaid, we accept cash, checks, and major credit cards.
What to Expect While You’re Here
First visits often take between 90 minutes and two and a half hours. During this time, an ophthalmic technician will examine your eyes, perform a vision screening, and go over your medical history. Your eyes may need to be dilated for the examination. As some people are uncomfortable driving with dilated eyes, consider if you wish to have someone drive you home. We welcome friends and family members at appointments.
Then you will meet with Dr. Michele Scott. Board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Scott has a Doctorate in Medicine and specializes in glaucoma treatment. She will perform a comprehensive eye examination and discuss the findings with you in depth. Dr. Scott always welcomes questions and encourages patient input in formulating the best plan of treatment.
Don't wait to see the world clearly.
