Understanding Glaucoma

Glaucoma refers to several forms of optic nerve damage that interfere with visual information that travels from the eye to the brain.

Symptoms can include:

Loss of, or blind spots in, peripheral vision
Red eyes
Intense eye pain and/or severe headaches
Seeing colored rings or halos around lights
Vomiting or nausea
Blurred vision, sometimes experienced with exercise
